Keep Pounding! Guide to Carolina Panters Tailgating!

Your Carolina Panthers take on the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday afternoon at 1:05pm in the amazing Bank of America Stadium located in the heart of Charlotte. But before the game take advantage of all these awesome tailgating spots around town. These parties are never a disappointment! Music, food, games, and panther pride galore!

  • Panthers in the Park at Romare Bearden Park
    Panthers in the Park is a free family-friendly pregame hotspot at Romare Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte. Bring the entire family to meet the TopCats cheerleaders, see the Carolina Panthers mascot Sir Purr and hear the PurrCussion Drum Line. And be sure to participate in the Fuel Up to Play 60 Kids Combine, a series of football drills for kids and their families. Activities include an obstacle course, a quarterback challenge and other fun activities designed to get kids moving. Panthers in the Park opens two-and-a-half hours prior to game time and closes 30 minutes before kickoff.
  • Panthers Lair at Bank of America Stadium
    Get pumped up for the game at the Panthers Lair, a free family-friendly pregame celebration at the corner of Mint and Morehead streets next to Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers Lair opens two hours prior to kickoff and features interactive games, face painting, giveaways and more. Be sure to get autographs from the TopCats and pictures with Sir Purr during your visit.
  • Panthers Tailgate at The Doghouse
    Join Sports Radio 610 WFNZ The Fan for a free tailgate party at The WFNZ Coca-Cola Doghouse at the corner of Mint and Morehead streets near Bank of America Stadium. The Doghouse rolls up its doors before, during and after the game for the public to enjoy a variety of food vendors, a full bar, tailgating activities like corn hole and more. Not going to the game? Catch it on one of the The Doghouse’s TVs.
  • Roaring Riot Tailgate
    Roaring Riot, the largest community of Carolina Panthers fans, hosts a large tailgate near the stadium for its members at each home game and also organizes trips for tailgates at away games. There’s an annual membership fee to join but with it members get a Roaring Riot T-shirt, sticker, membership card, a designated tailgate area, discounts on all of away game trips, and discounts at local vendor partners’ businesses. Roaring Riots goal is to grow and create a national network of Panthers fans.
  • Pantherfanz Tailgate
    The Pantherfanz Tailgating Club, established in 1999, goes all out with a black-and-silver bus and matching t-shirts at each home game. The group is made of up diehard Panthers fans who’ve been supporting the team for years, but the group is always open to new faces stopping by or reserving a spot in their designated tailgating area (if the spots aren’t all sold out).
