Topgolf Comes to Charlotte

Topgolf, which seems to be one of the most anticipated attractions in Charlotte’s future, will open its doors this weekend.

The 65,000 square foot golf facility is more than just a driving range. The venue comes complete with a full-service restaurant, 3-story driving range with a bar on each level, 102 climate controlled bays, a rooftop terrace with fire pit, over 200 HD TVs, free Wi-Fi and 3,000 feet of private event space.

The microchip-centered technology at the ranges can assist golfers at all levels, even if you are a beginner. Each golf ball is equipped with a microchip that tracks distance and points for games that challenge all skill levels, no matter how experienced the player is.

For non-golfers, there are plenty of other things to do at Topgolf aside from the sport itself. The full-service restaurant and multiple bars let guests enjoy the live music and entertainment without picking up a golf club.

The Charlotte location is to join several other Topgolf locations including spots in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Florida and many other states. It’s the company’s first location in North Carolina and memberships are available for guests to purchase.

Charlotte Agenda is calling it “Charlotte’s Next Big Thing” and Topgolf claims it’s “the ultimate” golf experience. Topgolf Charlotte will open its doors this Friday, June 9 at 9 a.m. The venue will be open until midnight on weeknights and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays. Don’t miss out on Charlotte’s highly anticipated entertainment venue.
