Wells Fargo Championship

Monday April 30 – Sunday May 6, Quail Hollow Club

After a year away at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, the Wells Fargo returns to Charlotte with an impressive player field including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed. With practice rounds Monday through Wednesday and the championship rounds starting Thursday, Charlotte residents are in for a treat. Tickets are still on sale online.

 

Lake Norman Boating & Water Sports Festival

Saturday May 5, Kings Point Marina

Get ready for boating season with free boating ad water safety seminars, interactive police & fire boat exhibits, raffles with prizes valued at over $3,000 and games for kids. Free admission with all proceeds benefiting local charities! Food trucks and vendors will also be on site.

 

Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

Saturday May 12, Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall

Join the festival for a great day of beer, bourbon, live music and barbeque. Your admission includes a sampling glass so you can enjoy all-you-can-taste samples of beer and bourbon. There will be over 60 beers, over 40 bourbons, and lots of barbeque for when you get hungry. VIP, general, and designated driver tickets are all available on-site.

 

Tega Cay’s Summer Food Truck Rally with U-Phonik

Saturday May 12, Runde Park

You will find great food, music, and a kids area with bounce castles at the first of this year’s Summer Food Truck Rally installments. The food truck line-up for the event will include Hobo’s Off the Tracks, KO Food Truck, Maki Taco, Marlie Q’s, Pizza for Pyros, Plated Palette, Roman’s All-Star Café, Spon’s BBQ, Blushing Bakeshop and Pelican’s. There will be additional parking with a shuttle service to the park and luxury lawn seating available.

 

James Taylor at Spectrum

Wednesday May 16, Spectrum Center

James Taylor & His All-Star Band will play in Charlotte this month with special guest, Bonnie Raitt and her band. Come see the North Carolina native musician and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in his home state performing at the Spectrum Center uptown Charlotte. Tickets are still available online.

Come out for Lucky Dog’s first ever Fur-BALL to benefit the Greater Charlotte SPCA! Circle K Speed Street Presented by Coca-Cola

Thursday May 24 – Saturday May 26, Uptown Charlotte

Memorial Day Weekend is kicked off by another Speed Street this year in Uptown Charlotte. Streets are shut down for concerts, food trucks, and other vendors. The Coca Cola stage will host country singers Easton Corbin and Chase Rice on Friday night and Brett Young and Dustin Lynch on Saturday night. Tickets are available online.
