The Nutcracker

Charlotte Youth Ballet: November 30 – December 2, 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Halton Theater

Charlotte Symphony: December 7 – December 23 at the Belk Theater

The Charlotte art community brings to the stage this annual holiday classic production of The Nutcracker. This holiday tradition follows the story of a family’s young children and an enchanted Nutcracker during the Christmas season. Holidays at the Garden: A Mile of a Million Lights

2018 ACC Championship Game

Saturday December 1, 8:00 p.m.

The Clemson Tigers and Pittsburgh Panthers will face off at Bank of America Stadium for this year’s ACC Championship. Uptown Charlotte is sure to be packed with football fans of all ages throughout the tailgates, pregame, and game-time action.


IKEA Charlotte Pet Adoption Event

Saturday December 1, 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

IKEA is teaming up with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control to present the Charlotte Pet Adoption Event at IKEA. Guests will enjoy free snacks and coffee while playing with the furry friends. All pet adoption fees will be waived for anyone who makes a donation to the organization and they will be giving away gift bags stuffed with items from IKEA’s pet line.


Adult Sip n’ Stir – Jolly Holiday Fun

Thursday December 13, 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Adults are welcomed to come learn some new recipes to share with friends and family over the holidays at the Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio. The Adult Sip n’ Stir will help you learn recipes for peppermint hot chocolate, gingersnap cookies, and spinach basil lasagna with garlic bread. Bring your favorite glass of wine to this adult-friendly cooking class. Tickets can be found online.


Breakfast with Santa

Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s making a pit stop at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. This Christmas, visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the fourth annual Breakfast with Santa.
