Behr Announces 2020 Color of the Year

The leading paint company, Behr, has announced their 2020 Color of the Year as “Back to Nature” (S340-4).

“As we look ahead to a new decade, Back To Nature encourages us to re-engage with the natural world, which we know can have a real, positive impact on our well-being,” said Erika Woelfel, Vice President of Color and Creative Services at Behr. “Whether you’re biking on a forest path, canoeing on a lake, or walking on the beach, green is prevalent in nearly every outdoor landscape. It is easily nature’s favorite color.”

The light, yellowish green exudes a calm, gracious, and balanced vibe according to the company’s website. The colors in this year’s forecast pallette are meant to reflect the public’s growing interest in health and wellness, according to Behr. Use this vibrant green hue as an accent color in a room that needs to be brought to life, or part of a color palette while you add more greenery into your home.
