Carolina Renaissance Festival

Saturdays and Sundays from October 5-November 24

History comes alive at the seasonal fan favorite, Carolina Renaissance Festival! Guests can expect jousting knights on horseback, sea fairies and swimming mermaids, and an artisan marketplace featuring over 100 vendors. Free parking onsite and the event is rain or shine.

 

2019 Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure

Saturday, October 5 Uptown Charlotte

Susan G. Komen Charlotte is excited to host the 23rd annual Race for the Cure in uptown Charlotte on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The event will begin on South Mint Street in front of Bank of America Stadium. Walkers, runners and participants of all ages are encouraged to join this family-friendly event, raising money and awareness for breast cancer health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs. Fall Festival

Saturday, October 5 at the U.S. National Whitewater Center

6th Annual Tawba Fest at Riverwalk

Saturday, October 5 at Riverwalk

The 6th Annual Tawba Fest will be held in the River District at Riverwalk, an active outdoor community along the Catawba River in Rock Hill. Guests can expect local beer, live music, family activities, and food vendors throughout the day. Face painting, balloon twisters, and even a visit from Sir Purr of the Carolina Panthers will make the day one for the whole family to remember!

 

Festival of India

October 12-13 at the Belk Theater

The 25th Festival of India is a showcase of the diverse Indian heritage while entertaining and educating the Charlotte community.The festival is organized by the India Association of Charlotte. The event’s mission is to share the authentic Indian culture through the tastes and sights of the country’s heritage.

 

Fall Frolic

Saturdays and Sundays, October 12-27 at Anne Springs Close Greenway

Get outside and head out to Anne Springs Close Greenway for their Fall Frolic celebrations. The festival will feature wagon rides, hay bale mazes, farm animals, horse rides, and much more! Bring the family to South Carolina’s beautiful greenway and kick off the start of fall.

 

Carolina Balloon Festival

October 18-20, in Statesville, NC

Each year, pilots arrive to Carolina BalloonFest with their hot air balloons ready to entertain with flight competitions, tethered rides & hot air balloon shows. The festival offers live entertainment, NC wines & craft beers, fine artisan crafts, a kids zone, and great festival food! South End Wine Festival

Saturday, October 19 in South End Charlotte, NC

Guests will enjoy hours of wine and beer tasting, live music, and food trucks. Proceeds benefit Classroom Central and their mission to equip students living in poverty to effectively learn. The event will be from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at 308 W. Carson Blvd. VIP and general admission tickets are available online.
