Jessica Johnson was born in Wisconsin and moved to North Carolina with her family. She grew up in Concord and has lived in Charlotte for the past thirteen years; including the Myers Park, Southpark, and Dilworth areas.  She currently lives in South Charlotte with her husband and their 7 year old dog, Winston.  Jessica and her husband are active real estate investors in the Charlotte market; they own and manage a small portfolio of rental properties.  Prior to real estate, Jessica’s background includes experience in marketing, sales, and customer relations.  Most recently Jessica spent nearly six years working for a maritime insurance company.  As scintillating as the insurance field was, Jessica decided to quit her job in order to pursue real estate full time.

When Jessica is not helping folks buy and sell real estate, she can usually be found spending time with one of her four sisters who all live in or relatively close to Charlotte.  Otherwise she’s probably at Lowe’s with her husband working through their next remodeling project on their own home or an update on one of their rentals.  At the end of most days, Jessica likes to unwind on the couch with her husband and a healthy dose of HGTV or DIY.

With her personal experience as a former tenant to homeowner to real estate investor and landlord, Jessica is able to bring insightful perspective and a breadth of firsthand knowledge to every real estate transaction.  Jessica understands buying and selling real estate is based on many factors beyond price, square footage and location. The buying and selling of real estate can be one of the largest financial and emotional decisions one makes in his/her lifetime.  With the right real estate advisor who understands the needs and wishes of each buyer and seller, coupled with thorough knowledge of the market, the process can be smooth and satisfying.
