What To Expect

The First Days & Weeks
Your home will be placed on our Web Site and in the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association in Multiple Listing Service within 24-48 hours after it has been listed. This means that the information on your home will be immediately available to every Realtor and prospective purchaser. If Realtors and prospects are actively searching for a new listing with special features that your home has, then it may be shown within a few days after it has been listed.

We use this first week to bring the Property Descriptions and Seller's Disclosure Forms to your home, fine tune the showing procedure for your home, get your For Sale sign installed, and work on the upcoming marketing activities including brochures and other promotional materials.

Please be sure that the information on the Property Description and any other materials that I may prepare on your home is correct. I'll see that you have a draft to review, but please check my work! This information should be out for the Realtors???® and prospective buyers to take with them. Please let me know when supplies of any materials run low so I can take care of re-filling them promptly.

About Office Tours
Our office tours new listings on Tuesdays after our sales meeting generally between 10:00 and 12:00. This is when selected Realtors and my staff assistant from our office walk through your home. Homes are usually toured within the first month of the listing. We will notify you no later than the Monday before. If you are home when the tour comes through, it may appear that the Realtors "fly through" your home, but they are there just to become acquainted with the layout and the showing condition of the home. Please don't consider it an insult. When showing it to a buyer, they obviously will spend more time.

Important - Please have your home ready for the tour the same way you would if a buyer is coming. Have it picked up, the lights and music on, the pets out of the way and the potpourri out! The Realtor's first impression is as important as the buyer's.
