Lori Cauthen was born in Charlotte, NC and raised in Lancaster, SC and is proud to be a life-long resident of the south. Lori graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Education and Biology and after graduating started a career in teaching. She later combined her love of education and passion for helping others to become a certified personal trainer and health coach where she worked closely helping others achieve their goals and attain happiness. During her 5 years working as a fitness coach and teacher she learned the key to being successful is by forming relationships based on trust and open communication.
Lori has always had a love of home design and in 2014 she combined her background in working with the public with her passion for home design, and became a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and South Carolina. She started her career in real estate at HM Properties where she earned the Strategic Pricing Designation, meaning she knows how to price homes correctly from the start to ensure her listings are sold quickly. In 2017 Lori joined Helen Adams Realty at their Randolph Road office where she consistently goes above and beyond for her clients. “Regardless of price point, I am dedicated to finding the house that is perfect for you, and I consider it an honor and privilege to earn your business” says Lori.
Lori understands the key roles that communication and strategic promotion play when it comes to creating a smooth transaction. She believes that buying and selling a home is a personal experience and that it's imperative to pay great attention to detail when it comes to understanding her clients’ wants and needs. With a foundation of teamwork, she forms relationships based on honesty and trust. “When it comes to real estate, I build relationships one client at a time and always take a quality versus quantity approach” . Lori has a true passion for what she does and considers every challenge an opportunity to find a solid solution. “Client satisfaction is my number one goal,” says Lori. “I feel that is achieved by being in tune with my clients’ needs, attention to detail, responsiveness, market knowledge, strong negotiating skills and a willingness to go the extra mile” she adds.
Lori is well-versed on helping home buyers make prudent purchasing decisions and she’s able to help sellers make their homes stand out in the marketplace. She has extensive knowledge in the Charlotte market and surrounding areas including Union, Indian Land, and Waxhaw Counties, as well as Lake Norman and Lake Wylie.
Lori is a proud resident of South Charlotte where she's lived for over 15 years with her husband, two beautiful children, and four fur babies - two dogs and two cats. She is very involved in the community as an active member of Forest Hill Church , Carmel Middle School PTA and the Urban Ministry Center.
