Charlotte Knights baseball season kicks off this week at the Knight’s BB&T Ballpark.
The Charlotte Knights will host the Norfolk Tides this weekend in a four game series from Thursday until Sunday. At Thursday night’s game, sponsored by Piedmont Natural Gas & NC 811, the first 7,500 fans through the gates will be able to receive a 2017 Charlotte Knights magnet schedule.
The team made some recent announcements regarding its upcoming season and what their fans can expect in 2017.
One of the new additions fans can look forward to is a new awning at the Piedmont Natural Gas Picnic area near the left side of the field. The Miller Lite Rooftop Party Zone toward the right of the field will also have a large tent to block the sun. This means fans can enjoy time at the ball park without worrying about the weather.
Fans will also now be able to bring their dog to the baseball games on three different nights throughout the season. May 15, June 26 and August 28 will be Bark in the Ballpark nights.
With these new additions and the same great baseball team, spending time at a game at BB&T Ballpark watching the Charlotte Knights will be the perfect way to spend a summer day or night!
