Helen Adams Realty Gives Back for the Holiday Season

Throughout the year, Helen Adams Realty supports the Charlotte and surrounding communities through multiple local organizations. Being a locally owned business and part of the Charlotte economy for over 40 years, we value the opportunity to give back to local organizations. During the holiday giving season, we pay special attention to charities in our area.

“Giving back and paying it forward allows us to spread kindness which creates a positive chain reaction,” says Geri Mullinix, Broker-in-Charge at our Fort Mill office. “People sharing a meal together paired with good conversation will create everlasting memories. Donating time, money or goods is one of the greatest gifts of all.”

Each of our four offices selects their own charity to support during the holiday season. This year, our Lake Norman office chose to donate to Toys for Tots, even becoming a public drop or center; our Randolph Road office will be giving to Salvation Army’s Angel Tree; our Ballantyne office will donate to students and families at Community House Middle School; and our Fort Mill office plans to donate to the Pilgrim’s Inn Food Drive.

“We really enjoy helping the kids in our community celebrate holidays that they may not be able to otherwise,” says Cara Shields, Broker-in-Charge at the Randolph Road office. “Our agents are very generous in their support each year. We love to see all the toys, clothes, and bikes roll into our office. It’s really special to see and it gets everyone excited for the holidays.”

Aside from holiday-themed giving, our firm is involved in several organizations throughout the Charlotte area. One of the most rewarding outlets of community outreach is our Helen Adams Realty Scholarship with UNC Charlotte. As the college grows, they educate more future leaders, future buyers and sellers, and future real estate agents!

Helen Adams, a sixth generation Charlottean, founded her residential real estate firm in Charlotte in 1975. The company is now operated by her son, Jeff, and three grandchildren.
