Saturdays at Bush n Vine Farm

Slices of Summer is held Saturdays throughout the summer from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The free event provides the chance for neighbors to sample yummy fruits from the farm such as peaches, cantaloupes, and watermelon. Come relax, spend time outdoors, and enjoy a refreshing summer snack!

Hello, Dolly!

July 9-14 at Belk Theater

Hello, Dolly comes to Blumenthal Performing Arts this month with Tony Award-winning Broadway legend, Betty Buckly. The production pays tribute to the original work of legendary director/choreographer Gower Champion – known for being one of the best talents in musical theater. Paddle to Table

July 10 and July 26 at U.S. National Whitewater Center

Paddle to Table allows guests to enjoy a guided flatwater paddle down the Catawba River, followed by a one-of-a-kind night of dining outdoors. Choose between a flatwater kayak or stand-up paddleboard before putting in and enjoying a sunset paddle along the banks of the Whitewater Center. After a short hike back, a chef-curated meal awaits guests at the Ridge Pavilion, with craft beer and wine options.

Lake Norman Forest Run

Saturday July 13 at Lake Norman State Park

Join your LKN neighbors for the first annual Lake Norman Forest Run! Mostly in the shade on the well paved roads of Lake Norman State Park, the run is separated into different age ranges and categories of difficulty. Charlotte French Festival

Sunday July 14 at Nevin Community Park

Say bonjour to the 3rd Charlotte French Festival and celebrate the rich and entertaining French culture. Guests can expect great French food, wine, crepes, pastries, music, dance and entertainment. Fun and excitement for the entire family, while you learn more about the French culture.

Queen’s Feast 2019
