Pantone ® has revealed its
Color of the Year for 2018 with a royal shade of purple taking the cake.
The Ultra Violet shade is described as a dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade that communicates originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking that points us to the future.
For the first time, Pantone also released an online
gift guide for consumers to shop the ultra violet shade in time for the New Year. Shoppers are encouraged to celebrate the Color of the Year with their selected products for your closet and your home. The blue-based purple inspired the collection of products which ranges from espresso machines to lipstick to tea pots to hair dryers.
