Queen’s Feast, Charlotte’s Restaurant Week, returns this month as more than 130 of the area’s best restaurants offer a mouthwatering tour of the Queen City’s food scene.

Since 2008, residents have welcomed Queen’s Feast to the greater Charlotte area with restaurants stretching from Fort Mill up to Lake Norman. The participating restaurants decide on a prepared menu of three courses at dinner for just $30 or $35 per person.

The semi-annual event now covers nine counties in the Charlotte-metro, introducing residents and neighbors to restaurants that they normally might not think to visit. The purpose of Charlotte Restaurant Week, according to Charlotte Stories, is to drive trial business at mid- to high-end restaurants by offering cost effective deals to diners interested in their three-course menus showcasing the restaurants’ offerings. Queen’s Feast is regularly viewed as a festive time in the area during normally slower periods for the restaurant industry, providing perfect opportunities for group outings and date nights.

The selection of participating restaurants ranges in cuisine from Italian food to Mexican to local American favorites and everything in between. Grab a plate of pasta at Mama Ricotta’s, go for some big Texas flavor at Paco’s Tacos & Tequila or sample French-American cuisine at Matthews’ Sante Restaurant, enjoy a date night out at the Lake Norman favorite Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails, or opt for seafood at ROCKSALT. With a broad range of restaurant menus and locations, there’s an option for everyone during Charlotte’s Queen’s Feast.

This year, Queen’s Feast is held January 18-January 27 at these participating restaurants. The event website suggests to check with individual restaurants on any of your party’s dietary restrictions and strongly encourages guests to make reservations. Additional information can be found online.
