A native of Alabama and graduate of Salem College in Winston-Salem, Jane has happily called Charlotte home for over 34 years.
The seeds for her excitement about real estate were planted in Alabama by her grandfather who believed in the strong importance of owning land and that there was no better investment than real estate. She nurtured this advice through the years while investing with her husband in properties in both Charlotte and Bald Head Island.
Jane's clients value her advice as a trusted professional. As their real estate advisor, her goal is to bring knowledge and clarity to the buying and selling process so that her clients are able to make decisions with confidence. She prides herself on her "deep market smarts," stellar marketing skills, and a satisfaction guarantee to ensure her clients receive the value they deserve. Jane received the Marketing Guru Award in 2020.
Jane has acquired extensive knowledge of the local community and neighborhoods through her professional career and voluntarism. She has been directly involved in the issues that affect our community, schools, and our livelihoods.
Jane has served as a member of the Board of Directors and officer for several non-profit organizations including the Junior League of Charlotte, the Charlotte Chapter of Women of Vision, and the Charlotte Museum of History. Jane currently serves on the Board of Taylor's Tale which advocates for rare disease research and treatment, especially Batten Disease. She received the impressive Lifetime Achievement Award from the Junior League of Charlotte.
Jane and her husband and teammate, Fred, have three adult children and two granddaughters. They are members of Myers Park Presbyterian Church, the Dowd YMCA, Charlotte City Club where Jane sits on the House Committee, and Bald Head Island Club.
When not busy serving others, showing beautiful homes in Charlotte or enhancing her mastery of real estate, Jane enjoys playing tennis, swimming, reading, piano, needlepoint, or playing pickleball. Of course, she also enjoys visiting Bald Head Island with family and friends!
